Kerry Morrison
Winemaker
Kerry Morrison grew up on the outskirts of the Barossa in Williamstown, where she developed a love for the way of Barossa life early.
After beginning her career at Peter Lehmann Wines in 1998 as a laboratory assistant, it wasn't long before she began studying Applied Wine Science externally through Charles Sturt University and joined the winemaking team as trainee winemaker.
After completion of her degree in 2004, Kerry became the second female winemaker at Peter Lehmann Wines, and had the opportunity to learn from one of the industry's first female winemaking pioneers Leonie Lange.
With a strong chemistry background and more than 10 vintages behind her, including one in California, Kerry has begun associate judging on the Australian Wine Show Circuit and was the recipient of the 2006 Rhone Exchange Program.
Not just a winemaker but a mother also to beautiful Mabel, Kerry resides in Tanunda with husband Shane, and their two cheeky beagles Lucy and Baxter.
