Brunch with the Black Queen – Barossa Vintage Festival 2011

It was a cheerful gathering of guests attending the iconic “Brunch with the Black Queen” on Sunday May 1st 2011 which marked the finale of the 2011 Vintage Festival at Peter Lehmann Wines.
Many who attend the Brunch each festival, along with welcomed new-comers began their day relishing in the sippings of PLW’s decadent Black Queen Sparkling Shiraz whilst being treated to Vintners Bar & Grill’s carefully prepared three course feast.
The cooler weather of the day seemed to have little effect, with the crowd being warmed by great wine & food, along with some toe-tapping tunes from local band, ‘Very Jane’.
One of the first-timer guests, Ms Kylie Darby, was delighted with her inaugural experience of Brunch with the Black Queen, mentioning that the main course of Duck Confit served with Truffle Oil Mash was a beautiful match with the PLW 'Margaret' Barossa Semillon.
